What’s the difference between the Stages SC2 and SC3?
The SC2 is the Rhythm model: RhythmBar™ handlebar and pop-pin height adjustment, with no console and an optional Stages Power Meter. The SC3 is the Power model: RoadBar™ handlebar, FitLoc™ levers, and the Stages Power Meter and SIC2 EcoSCRN™ console included. Both share the same 6061-T6 aluminum frame, CarbonGlyde™ belt drive, SprintShift™ resistance and 4′10″–6′10″ rider fit range.
Which should my studio or gym choose, the SC2 or the SC3?
Choose the SC2 for music-driven rhythm and choreography classes; it costs $800 less per bike at single-bike prices. Choose the SC3 if your instructors coach by watts and power zones; the extra $800 adds the Stages Power Meter, the SIC2 EcoSCRN™ console, the RoadBar™ handlebar and FitLoc™ levers. Still unsure? How much do the SC2 and SC3 cost, and is there bulk pricing?
The SC2 is $2,295 and the SC3 is $3,095 for single-bike website orders. Studios, gyms and resorts ordering two or more bikes get bulk pricing by quote within 24 hours.
Do the SC2 and SC3 both measure power?
The SC3 does, with the Stages Power Meter included (±1.5% accuracy, Bluetooth and ANT+). The SC2 doesn’t as standard, but you can add the optional Stages Power Meter (part 971-0105), which sends watts and cadence to compatible apps and studio displays. Stages power meters for outdoor road bikes aren’t compatible with either bike.
Do the SC2 and SC3 both have a console?
Only the SC3. It includes the SIC2 EcoSCRN™ console, powered by a generator in the flywheel hub, which shows watts, RPM, speed, heart rate (with a compatible sensor, not included), time, distance, kJ and kcal. The SC2 isn’t compatible with the SIC2 console.
Are the SC2 and SC3 the same size and weight?
Yes. Both weigh 98 lb assembled, share the same 24.5″ W × 43.5″ L footprint, and fit riders from 4′10″ to 6′10″, up to 350 lb.
Do the SC2 and SC3 have the same warranty?
Yes. Both carry the Stages commercial warranty: 15-year frame, 10-year belt, 3-year mechanical, 1-year electronics (SC3: console and power meter; SC2: power meter, if added), 1-year saddle, 6-month pedals and 1-year onsite labor. It covers the original owner only and isn’t transferable.

Not for single bikes. A single SC3 ships within 1 business day and a single SC2 within 5, then up to 5 business days for transit and delivery.
